I’m not really into flexibility, practising a little yoga I am more flexible than if I never did any yoga however I am no bendy circus contortionist, so I do feel a bit apprehensive to share a “flexibility” based class.
I have strived in my own yoga practice to achieve certain poses, sometimes over stretching, beyond my flexbility causing injuries. So the point is that be patient!
If you’re a massive gym goer, or never really stretch of course, you may have what my friend calls “negative flexibility”, there’s no such thing, it’s just that gaining flexibility seems long, looong away away.
Trust me it isn’t impossible or horrible, if you practice at least once a week! I have plenty of classes you can try for free click here to see if one takes your fancy or if you’d like a live class check out the schedule here.
So try this yoga class, made for you, it will help you gain more flexibility, so you can reach for your skis or bindings with less effort and ease.
Whatever type of skiing or snowboarding you do, having a little more mobility will help you throughout your time on the mountain.
This is a beginner-friendly yoga lesson, if you’re intermediate or advanced modify to your own need.
Don’t forget to share this post with a friend, if you have any comments don’t hesitate to ask!
