Timeline

1 hour

You’re looking to connect with others around the moon cycle.

To release the expectations and let yourself be wide open to form new friendships.

To be in an environment where you share, where you’re listened to and where you feel supported.

The circle and this space will leave you feeling energised and empowered in whatever you’re going through right now.

We have all felt all around the world, the ongoing effects of the pandemic plus our own personal struggles added on top.

Personally I realised that living where I was living in the mountains of Myoko, surrounded by ski resorts, meant that I was living in an isolating environment.

I’ve also had this feeling of isolation while living briefly in Tokyo for 3 months even though I was in a city of 13.5 million people. Most recently a friend who lives in London, has even said that she’s lonely. It’s not our location that’s not allowing us to connect, it’s the habit that we’ve created of staying in. As generally relationships can be complicated, cause tension, anxiety, jealousy and staying in scrolling on your phone or watching your streaming service of choise is Just Easier.

It’s not the location which changes this sense of isolation but our lack of connections itself.

Feeling isolated diminishes your power and there’s nothing wrong with being on your own space and resting. I sure need my space especially during my PMS/Luteal cycle 😆

It’s hard to connect if you’ve moved away from home, away from your family and away from your friends.

Although you knew deep down that you need to take the step to move away, there is always a longing to connect with those who we share a history, a past with.

A deep sense of dread of having to create new connections and to show this vulnerable part of wanting to connect.

This doesn’t have to be the case, you’d be surprised, how many of us crave connection.

Whether we wish our partners listened to us better, or our friends or even our family members, you don’t have to always be far away from people to have this feeling.

This is why I created the Goddess Circles in June 2020 and now call them Circles.

The Goddess Circles were done in person, while the rest of the world was in strict isolation, Japan didn’t have such restrictions especially in rural Myoko.

I decided to be vulnerable and create a safe space to connect and share.

Gathering together instantly showed the power of connection, even though some people didn’t know each other well. We all shared what’s on our hearts, what’s on our minds, seeing one another’s struggles using the moon’s energy.

This created a sacred space where you felt supported, connection, trust in others and therefore trust in yourself.

Every time I’ve held a Circle, I gain a huge surge in energy (not the draining type from gossip), a greater sense of support and wanting the full moon to come around sooner, so we can meet again.

What’s a Circle?

You want to create close female friendships, due to moving for work/ travel/ partner / different time zone.

You’re looking for connection, but being an adult + making friends = so damn hard. Especially outside of uni or work or going out to get wasted and drunk.

You’ve been burnt by other female friends and haven’t felt safe to create new friendships.
