The great thing about going to a yoga class, or practicing yoga at home, is that it doesn’t matter really where you are in your flexibility.
I constantly am told “Oh I’m not flexible” for yoga, but neither am I in the grand scheme of flexibility.
Unless you have a hyper mobile body, you’ll be stiff! It’s a fact, flexibility is something that you have to work towards.
So my advice to you if you think you’re not flexible enough for yoga, is go to a lesson!
Give it a try, find a class, a teacher that you like or stay at home and try this yoga for flexibility, its for beginners after all!
Don’t forget that if your goal is flexibility, you will have to keep practicing yoga, even if its once a week or once in a while.
Eventually you’ll gain the true benefits of yoga, you’ll learn how to breathe in a new way, you’ll get a a little more ease of movement in your body, eventually a greater sense of awareness.
A sense that you’re already amazing just the way you are!
